Is it weird that I like the more modern 80s throwback songs than I do anything from the actual 80s? I think after watching the first few episodes of the Netflix series Stranger Things over the weekend I’ve just had this chill 80s thing happening in my head.

I don’t know too much about Kavinsky or this song, other than that it was on the Drive soundtrack, and it’s really good (if not a bit repetitive). It feels like it belongs in a retro-futurist sci-fi movie where the 80s vision of the 2000s full of neon lights and grime happened and I’m driving down a seedy city street feeling pensive.

Last time I heard it: Probably about 1-2 months ago in the online DJ room I sometimes use with my friends. It pops up there semi-regularly.

Side note- I highly recommend Stranger Things.
