I don’t have much time to write about this one, but this song is so fun and upbeat. I can’t really say if this song popped into my or my partner’s head first today, but we were both singing it and dancing around together while getting some chores done. I never knew the origin of the song, coming from New Orleans based on the Indian chants performed during Mardi Gras.

Last time I heard it: I listened to it in full a couple months ago when I was making a good vibes playlist. Since then, I’m fairly certain a newer cover of it has been going around Tik Tok, which I don’t personally use often but my partner is on pretty much all day, so I pick up a lot of the audio memes and songs kind of by osmosis.
