I don’t know how much I can really say about Bjork. She’s super talented, just weird enough to stay interesting, and easily one of my favorite female artists in modern popular music. This track is one that I overlooked when I was younger, but revisiting now may be one of my favorites by her. It’s got so much weight to it with the heavy driving bass line and the layered strings add so much and compliment her voice perfectly. I’m glad my partner was around this morning to help me remember the name of the song based on my terrible humming of the melodic theme.

Last time I heard it: I have no idea. There hasn’t been anything that’s reminded me of Bjork, and I hadn’t thought about this song in a really long time until I woke up today. My SO did just recently come back from a bachelorette party in Mexico, so maybe that contributed, but honestly I don’t know that I knew this song was even called Bachelorette so who knows.
