Steven Universe is one god damn fantastic cartoon. This song may not land without the proper context, but it’s undeniably cute. I highly recommend giving this show a shot. The episodes are short and generally uplifting, but after they’ve established the characters and the universe it starts to build a fantastic narrative, and isn’t afraid to explore some potentially serious topics while remaining fun.
